As the director of professional services for Global Wave Group, Mr. Longtin meets with clients to determine needs and develop product requirements, while also contributing to documentation and leading Global Wave’s marketing efforts. His cumulative experience from over a decade of software product marketing, communications and business strategy enable him to serve as a strong liaison between clients and development teams.
Prior to joining Global Wave Group, Mr. Longtin was a product marketing manager within Microsoft’s SQL Server product management group, where he wrote and edited collateral, white papers and web site content related to SQL Server data warehousing. He generated content and delivered sales training for QAD, a Santa Barbara-based software vendor for manufacturing industries, as well as for X1 Technologies, a Pasadena-based software company. Mr. Longtin also held a succession of marketing and product marketing roles with Quest Software, based in Aliso Viejo, California.
Mr. Longtin earned a Master’s in Business Administration from the Merage School of Business at UC Irvine and a BA in Writing from Minnesota State University, Moorhead.
